My Frame Broke - Can You Replace It?
Our customer had an accident with a frame - always use two hooks!!!
The frame broke, the glass broke, and the artwork shifted in the matting. We took the whole piece apart, cleaned off the broken glass, put the artwork back into place and found a frame that came close to the original. The mats were in good shape, so we reused the matting that came with the original piece.
This finished piece uses an Omega Moulding frame of ornate silver with bead from their Margaux Collection. We replaced the original glass with TruVue Conservation Clear, along with new Acid Free backing. As usual, we wrapped up the finished piece in bubble wrap and provided two picture hooks for the customer to use when they got home!
