MOAB Juniper Baryta Rag 305
MOAB Juniper Baryta Rag 305
Moab Juniper Baryta Rag 305 is a premium 100% cotton fine art photographic paper. It recreates the depth and character of a traditional fiber-based darkroom print. This Moab Juniper Baryta paper has a true baryta coating. It uses barium sulfate. This material is traditionally associated with high-quality silver gelatin photographic papers.
The paper has a subtle fiber-gloss surface. It is not a high-gloss finish. This gives photographs a refined sheen. It maintains visible paper character. The baryta coating produces excellent density in deep blacks. This helps preserve shadow detail. It also provides smooth tonal transitions and strong overall contrast.
Juniper Baryta Rag uses a natural white, OBA-free base. Its brightness does not depend on optical brightening agents. This makes it attractive for black-and-white photography. It suits fine art photography, portraits, and landscapes. It's also great for images where natural highlights and tonal depth are important.
At 305 gsm and 16 mil thick, Juniper is a substantial double-weight paper. It has the feel of a traditional exhibition photographic print. The cotton rag base has a natural white tone. Its true baryta coating makes it unique. It is one of the more traditional photographic papers in the Moab line.
